happy_thanksgiving_card.jpg                                                        image1 (4).jpeg       NEMA   Voting Is The Right And Necessary Thing To Do November 2 is election day  NEMA encourages you to fulfill your Christian, civil responsibility in the coming election.    Remember, ‘When godly men do nothing – evil prevails!   Early Beginnings   Since 1991 pastors, ministry leaders, Christian businessmen/women, and missionaries have been having an informal, monthly network-luncheon at various host-churches in the greater Humble, TX area. Some have asked,  ‘How has NEMA been able to motivate leaders to meet together for over two decades.’  Jokingly the reply has been,  ‘Good food and great fellowship!’ Actually NEMA believes that God desires for His church to come together in common vision, common trust/love, and common information. This is the ‘glue’ of NEMA. This is the reason why NEMA has  been meeting continuously since 1991.    Purpose/Goals   NEMA was birthed in the hearts of a group of area pastors who wanted to establish lasting friendships with pastors with similar vision.  There are no membership requirements or costs-visit once and you are “IN”! Invite a friend. There is no agenda, i.e., guest speaker, etc. – casual dress……   NEMA has preserved its original goal from the very first luncheon held over 30 years ago.   To provide an ambiance where Christian leaders can meet with the sole purpose of establishing meaningful and lasting friendships.   It is a rare treat for Christian leaders to interface with a broad spectrum of dedicated people and just ‘get to know someone’ with no pretense or personal agenda. Bottom line-  ‘first name basis’, friendly conversation and sheer delight.     We want to welcome our newest Council member Pastor Abel Mendoza.  Pastor Mendoza planted    Kingdom Life Houston Church eight years ago.  He has been a part of NEMA for the last three years.
